The City of San Angelo and Tom Green County will host a public meeting to gather input on the Hazard Mitigation Action Plan update. The meeting is set for 6 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 3, at City Hall, 72 W. College Ave., in the East Reception Room.

The plan aims to reduce long-term risks to life and property from natural and human-caused hazards in our region. The City and County’s Office of Emergency Management, along with consulting firm H2O Partners Inc., will present an overview of the project.

Residents are encouraged to attend, share input, and help identify vulnerable areas and potential solutions. Public participation is vital to the planning process

-From Jose Rivera, Emergency Management Coordinator
