The San Angelo Chamber of Commerce has announced a new program aimed at helping local businesses promote their discounts, sales, and special offers.
The program, called “Hometown Deals,” provides residents and visitors with an effortless way to shop locally while saving money, aiming to drive local foot traffic, enhance engagement, and boost sales.
Chamber members can participate in the program at no cost, and it’s also free for the public to use.
Taking advantage of local talent, Chamber officials say the Hometown Deals platform was developed by website and application developer Seth Chomout, of Sethlife, with a user-friendly interface so users can quickly browse promotions and find businesses in the city for shopping, dining, and exploring.
“This is an exciting step forward in how we support our business community,” said Steve Ahlenius, President and CEO of the San Angelo Chamber of Commerce. “One of our primary goals is to help local businesses make money and grow. Hometown Deals provides them with a powerful, easy-to-use marketing tool while giving residents another reason to shop local and support the businesses that make our community strong.”
Local businesses using Hometown Deals can easily upload and manage promotions, seasonal discounts, and exclusive offers, with the ability to update them in real time for immediate marketing opportunities.
Businesses interested in participating in Hometown Deals, or learning more about the Chamber are encouraged to contact the San Angelo Chamber of Commerce by visiting SanAngelo.org or (325) 655-4136. See it online here.
