The San Angelo Chamber of Commerce announced a fresh approach for their 2026 Luncheon Series: “Voices of Leadership” begins on January 13, 2026, with “Voices of Progress: The Future of Economic and Tourism Growth,” presented by the Chamber. Riley Rodriquez, Democratic candidate for State Senate District 28, will host a Meet and Greet at 6 p.m., December 18, at Urban Salt Kitchen, 23 W Beauregard. Rodriquez is a business owner from Abilene, running for the seat currently held by Senate President Pro Tem Charles Perry (R-Lubbock). No Democrat has run for the seat in over a decade, according to the campaign. The event is open to the public to get a chance to chat with the candidate.
