Angelo State University is having a free fun-filled admissions event for all high school students from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Saturday, April 5.
This is a great opportunity to see what Angelo State has to offer. Attendees will start the day off at the Houston Harte University Center, hearing from the admissions team and the RAM band, and they can take photos with our mascots, Roscoe and Bella!
Prospective students will get a campus tour and learn more about our school traditions.
Families will get to break into different sessions throughout the day to learn about our academic departments and hear from some of our professors, and there will be a panel so they can ask real-life questions to a student hear about their college experience.
ASU offers four different residence halls for students to chose from, with independent-style halls and open-space halls. Tours are planned to help new students find the best fit for them.
Students will also get to eat in our cafeteria and experience what college life is really about. Our cafeteria has a lot of different selections including a pizza bar, salad bar, and home-style meals.
Interested students can learn about some of our other facilities, which include our Skyline Aviation program at the San Angelo Airport, as well as the agricultural department, where they can tour our MIR Ranch!
Activities for the day will wind-down as students have a chance learn about our many student organizations, and how they can get more involved on campus.
Getting involved is a great way to meet new connections, as well as keeping busy! Angelo State has over 100 different student organizations for students to join so this will be a great opportunity for incoming students to meet some of them.
Don’t forget to use your 20-percent-off coupon for purchases at the bookstore.
Check-in begins at 8 a.m. and registration is available online at angelo.edu/ram-preview-days
