ASU’s Mayer Museum and Art in Uncommon Places welcomes the public to explore the history of the “Concho River Legacy Trail” offering the public a look at plans.
The event, set for Tuesday evening, will focus on future designs for public art along the downtown Concho River corridor.
The Mayer Museum will also premiere an exhibit titled “Century of the Scout,” showing rare photos, vintage uniforms and badges, old scouting handbooks, and other artifacts.
During the free reception, officials will explain the details of the Concho River Legacy Trail project and preview larger-than-life bronze sculptures, maps, and the technology used to design and plan the project.
The reception is from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 3, at the Mayer Museum, 2501 W. Ave. N. After the reception the exhibits will be available for free viewing Tuesdays through Saturdays, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., until Aug. 22.
