ASU Kicks Off “Rambunctious Week” With Full Schedule

Angelo State University will kick off the 2025 fall semester with its annual Rambunctious Week, August 20-24, featuring a variety of activities designed to welcome students to campus and help new students begin making the transition to college life.

Rambunctious Week officially begins at 8 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 20, when students will begin moving into their campus residence halls. That will be followed by over 20 events and activities that stretch through Sunday, Aug. 24. Fall semester classes will begin Monday, Aug. 25.

Wednesday, Aug. 20

  • Noon – Hamburger Cookout (students & families), The Caf
  • 1:30-4:30 p.m. – Rambunctious Week Check In, Houston Harte University Center
  • 4:30 p.m. – Farewell Dinner (students & families), The Caf
  • 8-11 p.m. – RAMbunctious JAMming, LeGrand Alumni and Visitors Center

Thursday, Aug. 21

  • 10 a.m. – RAMbunctious Relay, Campus Green
  • Noon – Lunch, University Center or The Caf
  • 2-3 p.m. – Ram2Ram Sessions, Various locations
  • 5-7 p.m. – Dinner, The Caf
  • 8-10 p.m. – Night at the Stadium, LeGrand Stadium at 1st Community Credit Union Field
  • 10-11 p.m. – Blue & Gold Pancakes, The Caf

Friday, Aug. 22

  • 10 a.m. – New Student Education Session, University Center
  • Noon – Lunch, The Caf
  • 2-3 p.m. – Ram2Ram Session, University Center
  • 5-7 p.m. – Dinner, The Caf
  • 8-11 p.m. – Night at the CHP, Ben Kelly Center for Human Performance

Saturday, Aug. 23

  • 10 a.m. – New Student Education Session, University Center
  • Noon – Lunch, The Caf
  • 2-3 p.m. – Ram2Ram Session, University Center
  • 3-5 p.m. – Community Fair, University Center
  • 5-7 p.m. – Dinner, The Caf
  • 8-11 p.m. – Night at the UC, University Center

Sunday, Aug. 24

  • 2-3 p.m. – Ram2Ram Session, University Center
  • 5-8 p.m. – Night at the Lake House, ASU Lake House
  • 9:15-10 p.m. – Fiat Lux Experience, Housley Tower

Rambunctious Week activities are coordinated by the Office of Student Transitions and partnered by numerous other offices and organizations, including Student Life, Housing and Residential Programs, University Recreation, University Center Program Council, Multicultural Center, Greek Life, Student Government Association, Spiritual Life, and more.
