OBITUARY

Aleasa Kaye Ogle, age 51, of Eden, passed away on December 10; taken too soon and leaving a space that can never be filled.

Born September 18, 1974 in Galion, OH; she carried her strength, kindness, and resilience with her wherever life took her.

Aleasa was the beloved daughter of Brenda Sloan (née Wagner) and Merritt Timothy Ogle, who survive her. From the very beginning, Aleasa lived with a deep capacity for love, loyalty, and devotion to her family. She was a woman whose presence was felt the moment she entered a room—warm, genuine, and fiercely protective of those she loved.

Above all else, Aleasa was a mother. She poured her heart into her children, Christopher Ogle and Ayden Ogle, loving them with a devotion that never wavered. Her greatest joy later in life was becoming a grandmother to Ruby Ogle, who brought her immense pride and happiness. Aleasa also shared a close and meaningful bond with her brother, Jason Ogle, as well as her cherished niece, Reedie Sloan.

Aleasa dedicated 25 years of her life to serving the Eden community, working in various roles where she was known for her compassion, fairness, and unwavering work ethic. For the last five years, she served as an HR Specialist at Eden Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center and Central Texas Nursing and Rehabilitation, where she advocated for employees, supported residents through her work behind the scenes, and treated everyone with dignity and respect. Her professionalism was matched only by her kindness, and she took great pride in helping others succeed.

Aleasa was known for her strong spirit, her honest heart, and her ability to care deeply—sometimes quietly, sometimes fiercely, but always sincerely. She valued family above all, and her life was shaped by showing up for the people she loved, no matter the circumstance. Those who knew her will remember her as someone who loved hard, felt deeply, and left a lasting impression on every heart she touched.

She is survived by her parents, Brenda Sloan and Merritt Timothy Ogle; her brother, Jason Ogle and family; her sister; Erin Ogle and family; her children, Christopher Ogle and Ayden Ogle; her niece, Reedie Sloan; and her grandchild, Ruby Ogle.

Aleasa was preceded in death by her grandparents, and her beloved companions Tink, Aspyn, Millie, Dobby, Gizmo, Tumnus, Bailey, Cocoa, BonBon, Roscoe, and Magic, who surely welcomed her with love.

A public celebration of life will be held on December 20, 2025, at 2 pm, in the Eden High School Gym, where family, friends, and all who loved Aleasa are invited to gather, remember, and honor a life that mattered deeply.

“Those we love never truly leave us. They live on in the hearts of everyone they touched.”

Though her time was far too short, Aleasa’s love, strength, and legacy live on through her children, her grandchild, and all those whose lives were better because she was part of them. She is deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
