“You often hear people say, ‘They don’t make things like they used to,’ and there’s a lot of
truth to that,” said Jaton Hampton, organizer of the Concho Valley Vintage Market, which will be open Saturday and Sunday at Fort Concho National Historic Landmark, 630 S. Oakes St.

The family-friendly event will also feature live music, food trucks and more. Admission is $5 per person, and children 12-and-under get in free.

According to Hampton, the two-day market will feature an interesting variety of vendors offering affordable, quality vintage art, décor, clothing, and collectibles, alongside retro-inspired items and hand-crafted goods.

Tickets are $5 per person and children 12-and-under get in free.

“The Concho Valley Vintage Market is about bringing those timeless, well-made pieces together in one place, while also celebrating the creativity of artisans and makers who draw inspiration from the past,” she said.

The market will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday.

Hampton said a portion of the proceeds will benefit “Bunk and a Prayer,” a non-profit organization providing beds and bedding to those in need.
