Ventura “Bert” Villarreal had an adventurous and comedic soul and filled every room with joy and laughter. His entrepreneurial spirit led him to owning his own car dealership and carport sales business.

He was a proud man who took care of his family and encouraged them to be proud of the Villarreal name. He taught his children to love nature and to fish. He and his wife loved to joke, travel, camp, play various board games and cards, and attend their grandchildren’s sporting events. He enjoyed going to casinos and made friends wherever he went. He was loved by everyone who met him.

A Rosary service will be held on Friday, January 2, 2026 at 6 p.m. at Johnson’s Funeral Home at 435 W Beauregard Ave, San Angelo, TX 76903. His Funeral Mass will take place on Saturday, January 3, 2026 at 10 a.m. at St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Wall, TX at 8602 Loop 570, San Angelo, TX 76905.

The family would like to thank St. Gabriel’s Hospice and Palliative Care, and nurses Debbie Davis, Tammy Celaya, Megan Rodriguez, and staff Oneida, Maria, and Brittany for the wonderful and loving care they gave our father, and support they provided our mother. May God bless them.
