OBITUARY

Thomas Lee “Tommy” Evridge, 78, passed away on Sunday, February 22, 2026 at his home.

No services are scheduled at this time. Arrangements are under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home.

Mr. Thomas was born on February 2, 1948 in San Angelo to Thomas E. and Norma Lee Evridge. Tommy grew up in Big Lake and graduated from Reagan County High School in 1962. He played on the football team, was a life guard, and worked at his father’s filling station. Tommy graduated from Angelo State University with a degree in sociology. He worked as a probation officer, as a Parole offices, and ranched on the side around Miller’s View. Tommy also proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy before being honorably discharged,

He married the love of his life, Sylvia Escobedo and loved his time with her before breast cancer took her life.

Tommy was a hoot and always did whatever he wanted to do. He enjoyed BBQing, old westerns and reading.

He is survived by his son, Mac Evridge and his wife Barbara of San Angelo; a brother, Billy Evridge and wife Sheena of Albuquerque, New Mexico; a sister, Janie; four grandchildren, Linzi Mironchik, Bryson Evridge, Jayci Evridge, and Tyler Evridge; and four great-grandchildren, Thomas Elliott, Scarlett Lee, Miles, and Nixon.
