Monday dawned under partly cloudy skies before warming up nicely, with high temperatures in the lower 80s.
Late afternoon and evening storms out west missed San Angelo for the most part on their way east, but the early morning storms rolling through are leaving some nice rains behind. We’ll have to see what the rain gauges say later.
According to the weather office, the chance for rain will remain in the forecast through Wednesday, when they give us a 50 percent chance of rain.

Workers were busily going about their jobs on Monday morning, picking up where they left off the week before, unless they could sneak-in a little fishing, that is.
Summertime is underway in San Angelo, and folks are busy getting in their vacations — or staycations, and making plans for Independence Day, which is only weeks away.
