Thanksgiving Dinners and Catering in San Angelo

If you’d rather kick back and watch the game instead of breaking a sweat in the kitchen, several restaurants in town will serve thanksgiving dinner. 

If you have extra ingredients or want to support the Salvation Army Thanksgiving Meal through donations, they are currently accepting turkeys, dressing, gravy, cranberry sauce, and rolls. Donations can be dropped off at the Salvation Army shelter at 34 W 3rd Street in San Angelo, during regular business hours, Monday through Friday. 

Where : Hampton’s Kitchen, 401 Rio Concho Drive

When: 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Thanksgiving Day 

Webb, Stokes & Sparks Personal Injury Law

Fare: Traditional, turkey and dressing with fixings 

Price: $15 for Rio Concho Residents, $17 for non-residents

Where: Mrs. Hattie’s Restaurant, 26 E Concho Ave. 

When: 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Thanksgiving Day 

Fare: Buffet style traditional, with prime rib 

Price: $35

Where: Dunbar East, 1728 Pulliam St. 

When: 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., Thanksgiving Day 

Fare: Traditional, turkey and dressings with fixings 

Price: $25 for inside dining, $23 to-go. 

Non-Traditional Fare 

Tired of turkey and dressing? These spots will stay open on Thanksgiving, serving their usual menus. 

Where: Alejandro’s Kitchen and Tequila, 4388 Sherwood Way 

When: 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., Thanksgiving Day

Fare: Tex/Mex 

Price: n/a 

Where: Lorraine’s Soul Food, 1951 W. Beauregard Ave.

When: 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 2:30-4 p.m.

Fare: Soul Food

Price: n/a 

Where: Oriental Flame, 4217 College Hills Blvd.

When: 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., Thanksgiving Day 

Fare: Korean barbeque 

Price: $30 

Order Ahead

If you feel like hosting but not up to cooking, let these fine folks do the work for you: 

Where: The Pit BBQ, 2330 Sherwood Way 

When: Taking orders until Nov. 21, for pickup on Nov. 26

Fare: Barbeque and smoked meats, with fixings. 

Price: Entire meals that serve four start at $89 for turkey breast, whole smoked turkey for $139. Includes side dishes.

Where: Helen’s Bistro and Bakery, Stevens Central Library 

When: Taking orders until Nov. 21, pickup on Nov. 26 from 10 a.m. to noon. 

Fare: Traditional, turkey with dressing, with fixings. Cheesecakes, pies, and puddings also available to order. 

Price: $24 for full meal.

Where: J-Bar Meat Company, 7005 US Highway 277 South 

When: While supplies last 

Fare: Your choice of smoked turkey or ham, two sides and one dessert; or the same with three sides and two desserts. Traditional sides, cobblers for dessert.
