Sundays in San Angelo are often quiet, with limited options for dining. One local restaurant is looking to change that by inviting others to the table.
Senor Changs has announced an open invitation to local culinary dreamers and visionaries.
In a recent Facebook post, the restaurant shared its vision for transforming a vacant building into a Sunday space for pop-up kitchens and culinary entrepreneurs.
“I would like to extend an invitation to those who are passionate about pursuing their culinary dreams. If you have a concept but lack the space to bring it to life, please reach out to me.”
The idea, simple yet exciting, is to offer the space on days when the restaurant is closed.
Projects like these remind us of the true spirit of collaboration found throughout every industry in San Angelo – we can’t wait to see what they come up with.
The Facebook post read:
Dear Dreamer,
In light of the limited dining options available in San Angelo, I have been reflecting on various concepts that could be exciting to explore. As I’ve shared my ideas, I’ve been encouraged to find that many others resonate with this vision.
I currently have a vacant building available on Sundays, as we are closed on that day. I would like to extend an invitation to those who are passionate about pursuing their culinary dreams. If you have a concept but lack the space to bring it to life, please reach out to me.
I envision creating pop-up kitchens on Sundays that could fill the culinary gaps in our community. Additionally, for those of you who may not be interested in running a restaurant but enjoy dining out, I would love to hear your thoughts. What types of food experiences would you like to see in San Angelo?
