San Angelo Stock Show A Success

As the 2025 San Angelo Stock Show draws to a close, there is much to reflect on. This was an extraordinary event filled with dedication, hard work, and a sense of community. That is what makes this event one of the most prestigious in the State of Texas. These young exhibitors from across the state, put their heart and soul into preparing their animals and projects. The Stock Show showcases not only their skills but their passion for this competition.

The journey to the San Angelo Stock Show is no easy feat. From early mornings spent in the barn to countless hours of practice, preparation is the cornerstone of each exhibitor’s success. These young competitors gain more than just a shot at winning. They develop vital life skills like responsibility, teamwork, and perseverance, setting them up for a bright future. It’s important to remember that this is about more than just a buckle or a banner. It’s about family support, love, and the deep bonds created by hard work. Whether raising an animal or participating in other events like Food Challenge or Consumer Decision Making, there are many ways for children to be a part of the vibrant stock show industry and gain valuable experience.

Stars Gilt Show:

  • Supreme Champion: David Sanchez
  • Reserve Supreme Champion: Kendall Wafford

Breeding Gilt Show:

  • Supreme Champion: Lindsey Lowry
  • Reserve Supreme Champion: Kaycen Card

Market Steer Show:

  • Grand Champion: Aniston Floyd
  • Reserve Grand Champion: Elli Bezner

Market Barrow Show:

  • Grand Champion: Brinley Wilson
  • Reserve Grand Champion: Jeffery Long

These accomplishments are a testament to the dedication and determination of each exhibitor. To be recognized with such honors is an extreme accomplishment. It is a reminder of the tremendous effort required to achieve success in this industry. Congratulations to all the exhibitors who participated—the competition wouldn’t have been the same without their hard work. And the event wouldn’t have been possible without the tireless efforts of parents, volunteers, and judges who made it all run smooth.

Supporting the Future at the San Angelo Stock Show Premium Sale

The San Angelo Stock Show continues to provide support to the youth of Texas even after the show. The Stock Show culminates in the San Angelo Stock Show Premium Sale on April 19, 2025. The sale will take place at the 1st Community Credit Union Spur Arena at 2:00 PM. The top 140 exhibitors from across the state will showcase their hard work and receive recognition for their achievements.

The sale will include animals from the Junior Market Steer Show, Junior Market Lamb Show, and Junior Market Goat Show. Through the sale the youth receive crucial financial support to continue their efforts in agriculture and related fields. Each year, the San Angelo Stock Show raises over $1 million in support of youth exhibitors. This platform honors the hard work of these young Texans and set them on a path for continued success. It’s a chance to give back to the next generation of leaders and foster growth within the community.

San Angelo Stock Show Looks Forward to the 2025 San Angelo Rodeo

With the San Angelo Stock Show wrapping up, the focus now turns to the highly anticipated San Angelo Rodeo. Taking place from April 4-20, 2025, the rodeo promises an action-packed lineup of events. Tickets for the rodeo go on sale on March 3, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. With 98% of tickets selling prior to each performance, fans are encouraged to act quickly

The PRCA Sanctioned Rodeo will feature thrilling competitions. These include Steer Wrestling, Bareback Riding, Team Roping, Saddle Bronc Riding, Tie Down Roping, Barrel Racing, and Bull Riding. Signature events include:

  • PRCA Finals – April 18,
  • Cinch Chute-Out – April 19
  • Tejano Day Extravaganza – April 20

In addition to the rodeo, attendees can enjoy the rodeo parade, fantastic vendors, a bustling carnival, mouth-watering fair food, and create lasting memories. Whether you’re a rodeo enthusiast or new to the tradition, there’s something for everyone to enjoy at this exciting event.
