The articles concerning the history of SAISD were great and described the decisions that have been made through the years and why.

The story about all of the 7th graders in SAISD going to Washington Junior High is not 100% accurate.  I attended Washington for the 7th grade.  It was an excellent way to transition from elementary school to Junior High.

The 7th grade moved to Washington and Edison 8th and 9th were in the high school building the was just vacated on the west side of Oakes.

Washington was in the building that eventually became the admin building that burned.  There is now a Shannon Hospital building on this location on Magdalen.

John Glenn was constructed and there was no longer a need for Washington.

Thanks again for the history of SAISD.
