On Sept. 30, Goodfellow Spouses & Community will host Roll for Relief, a fundraising Bunco night to supporting military families impacted by the historic July 4 floods at the House of Fifi DuBois in San Angelo. Tickets are $35 per person, with all proceeds going directly toward ongoing flood relief and rebuilding efforts.
GSC President Alex Luning says Roll for Relief is designed for everyone:
“We chose a downtown venue because this is not just a military story, it’s a San Angelo story. We welcome all who want to support these families, whether you wear a uniform, support someone who does, or simply want to enjoy a fun night out with friends.”
“We responded immediately in those first chaotic days, but the need is still immense for many military families,” said Luning. “Roll for Relief is about keeping that momentum going and bringing together our military and local communities for an evening that directly supports flood recovery.”
GSC volunteers have fundraised and worked to remove damaged drywall and flooring, drying priceless mementos, and walking alongside affected families through recovery. With Roll for Relief, GSC aims to sustain this vital work by funding building materials, home repairs, and continued support for the 38 flood-impacted military families.
The night will feature lively Bunco games, prizes, and a silent auction with something for everyone—including a weekend getaway in Taos, a house cleaning package, and much more. Guests can expect the quintessential military spouse experience: walking into a room full of strangers and leaving with new friends.
