OBITUARY
Rene Montez Hernandez, 24, of San Angelo passed away on Monday, October 13, 2025.
Memorial services will be 10:00 AM on Monday, October 20, 2025 at The House of Jireh Church. Arrangements are under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home.
Hernandez was born on November 1, 2000, in San Angelo, and attended Lake View High School. Rene enjoyed cooking, fishing and spending time with his family. He was a funny, happy, outgoing person who enjoyed talking to people about Jesus.
He had a good heart and enjoyed adventure. Rene was a fearless, strong, tough man. He will be missed by all who loved him.
Survivors include his two children, Gabby Hernandez and Noah Hernandez; his father, Daniel Hernandez of San Angelo; his mother, Sally Hernandez; six siblings, Daniel Hernandez and wife Victoria, Eric Hernandez, Salena Hernandez, Samuel Hernandez, Melinda Aguilera and husband Angel, and Tommy Hernandez; and numerous nieces and nephews.
