OBITUARY

Ramiro Avarado Sr. passed into the arms of the Lord on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, in San Angelo, Texas.

Ramiro was born in San Angelo on September 19, 1946, to Domingo Alvarado and Carmen Hernandez Alvardo.

Ramiro had many professions throughout his life, including being a custodian at Lake View High School, and in his later years, assisting at Los Panchito’s Restaurant.

He found joy in riding his bike to our local parks where their shady and friendly solace would beckon him. He would pick a bench or nice square of grass to sit on and enjoy a few minutes of peace to rest and unwind.

He was a gentle, unassuming man with a sly sense of humor.

Ramiro’s selflessness, warmth, and generous spirit will be remembered forever by all who knew him. At the core of Ramiro’s existence was an unyielding love for the Lord that transcended the boundaries of time and circumstance.

This love was a constant guiding force that not only directed his actions but also anchored him in every storm. His life was a living sermon, a reminder that faith is not limited to the walls of a church but is alive in daily acts of kindness, sacrifice, and empathy.

Ramiro is preceded in death by his wife Delia Alvarado and one son Ramiro Alvarado Jr. and sister Yolanda Barrera.

Ramiro is survived and will be missed by his loving daughters, Debra M. Alvarado and Iris Alvarado and will be remembered by his five grandchildren: Monica D. Alvarado, Johnathan Alvarado, Lacey Vigil, Philipe Vigil, Santana Vigil, as well as his seven great-grandchildren, who he loved very much.
