Obituary

Pamela Kaye Ellis Rogers, 77, of Greenwood, South Carolina, passed away peacefully on Oct. 4, 2025, at McCormick Post Acute in McCormick, S.C.

Born on October 29th, 1947, in Newberry, South Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Nell Ellis. Pamela was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, whose greatest joy was her family.

She is survived by her husband, Charles Joseph Rogers III, of 221 Rock Knoll Dr. Greenwood, S.C., son, Jay Brock and wife, Lexy, of Fort Worth, TX, daughter, Jennifer Blanchett, and husband, Carey, of Greenwood, S.C.

Pamela was the proud grandmother of Dustin Shirley of Fort Worth, TX, Austin Shirley of Fountain Inn, SC, Sidnee Elder of Raleigh, NC, and Jaycee Brock of Charleston, S.C. She was also blessed with four great grandchildren, Stella, Brock, Silas and Stevie Shirley, a sister, Angela Haselden, of Dacula, GA, a nephew, Fred Haselden, a niece, Michelle James and many cousins.

Pamela was of the Baptist faith and will be remembered for her infectious smile, kind heart, and deep love for her family, friends, and her beloved friend, Lee Gleaton.

She will be laid to rest in Rowena, TX.
