OBITUARY

Sheles Spiller, 54, of San Angelo, Texas, passed from this life peacefully on February 10, 2026, surrounded by love and comfort in her final hours.

She was a one-of-a-kind woman whose quick wit and infectious laugh could light up any room. She could find magic in life’s little moments and treasured those memories.

Sheles was known for her loyal friendship, loving spirit, and protective heart. She was fun, strong, a little stubborn in the best way, and unforgettable , the kind of person whose presence left a mark on everyone she met.

Sheles is survived by her children, Roy Russell, Dylan Spiller, Dakota Spiller, and Michael Cleveringa; and by her two precious grandchildren, Dylan Spiller Jr. and Lewis Counts who brought her immense pride and joy.

Also left to cherish her memory are her extended family, mama Sharon, Kandyce, Kaitlyn, Becca, Garrett, Dakotta, Carrie, Raelynn, Angel, and Alyssa. Many adopted kids and dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her amazing mother, Janita Kay Pettit, and her beloved grandparents, Pat and Claudia Munn.

The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to Dr. Cheruku and his staff, the amazing doctors and nurses at Shannon ICU, and, last but not least, Hospice of San Angelo. Though hospice was only involved for a short time, they provided comfort and dignity during her final moments.

Sheles will be deeply missed by her family, many special friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her laughter, strength, and fierce love will live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind.

Her family has entrusted Gutierrez Funeral Chapels / North with her care and arrangements, which are currently pending. Memorial service information is pending and will be announced as soon as it becomes available.
