OBITUARY
Norma Bea Dickey, (Granny) 89, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and faithful servant of the Lord, was born on June 5, 1936, to Clyde R and Ruby L Chick. Norma peacefully went home to be with Jesus on February 5, 2026, with the love and support of her family by her side. Granny was a kindhearted, loving, funny lady who always made you smile.
Granny loved to live life and be around family and friends. She took part in line dancing, playing cards, wahoo, bingo, crocheting, and spoiling her dog, Lyla. She even took part in the Game Show Network on television daily; they just did not know it. Granny also loved her two neighbors, Teresa Boykin and Becky Kiser, who always watched out for her best interest and helped her when needed.
Norma was a devoted wife to the love of her life, James Dickey, whom she married on July 8, 1952. They spent sixty-nine wonderful years together until James passed away in May of 2022. Norma is survived by her loving children, Bobby Dickey and wife Sherri, Ron Dickey, Jimmy Dickey and wife Brenda, Guy Dickey and wife Tammy, and daughter Sheila Foley and husband Merle, 13 grandchildren, and 15 great grandchildren.
