OBITUARY

Mark Heinze, 74, of San Angelo, passed away February 6, 2026.

He was born October 7, 1951, to Milton and Gladys (Eckert) Heinze, and grew up near the community of Miles. After high school graduation, Mark attended Texas A&M University where he earned degrees in Animal Science and a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree. He also earned a degree in Banking/Finance from the University of Texas at Austin.

Mark practiced veterinary medicine for several years before spending over 37 years in banking.

Mark was a lifelong Lutheran and enjoyed being a part of that faith. He was born with a servant’s heart and was a giver. Wherever Mark was or whatever he was doing, you knew he was a believer. He loved his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He earned the beloved nickname “Daddo” and his grandchildren were his world.
