OBITUARY
With sadness in our hearts, we announce the passing of Lillian “Lillie” McCarthy, 61, of San Angelo, Texas, on Sunday, October 26, 2025.
She was born in Brady, Texas on June 26, 1964, to Juan R. Galindo, Sr. and Lilia M. Galindo. Lillie Is now reunited with her loved ones who predeceased her: her parents, Juan R. Galindo, Sr. and Lilia M. Galindo; her son, Michael, and her brother Pete Galindo.
Lillie had a heart full of compassion and always went out of her way to help others; her compassionate nature led her to her career with Girling Home Health Care where she provided loving care to her clients. Lillie lived a full and warm life, filled with happiness and kindness towards all those she met, and she will be missed immensely.
Lillie leaves her memories to be cherished by her brother, Johnny Galindo, Jr. of San Angelo, Texas, her uncle, Floyd and Martha Martinez of San Angelo, Texas; her aunts, Marty & Gilbert Steelhammer of Brady, Texas and Eustolia Torrez of Brady Texas.
She will be remembered by her cousins, Melba & Robert Ramirez, of San Angelo, Texas, Chuck & Pauline Martinez of San Angelo, Texas, Christi & Jimmy Flores of Brady, Texas, Cutis Carr of Brady, Texas, Mary Helen & Alvino Ortega of Brady, Texas, Danny Galindo of Brady, Texas, Charlie Galindo of Brady, Texas, Frank Galindo of Brady, Texas, Raymond Barrera of Austin, Texas, Danny Barrera of Brady, Texas, Trini Bradley of New Mexico, Latha Tucker of Lubbock, Texas and many more cousins.
The family extends their eternal gratitude to the nurses and physicians on the I.C.U. unit at Shannon Hospital; their compassion and dedication during Lillie’s final journey were a true blessing.
