OBITUARY
Jennifer Bernice Ugalde, a beloved, gentle, kind-hearted, and patient soul, passed away on February 1, 2026, at the age of 38.
Born on January 10, 1988, in San Angelo, TX, Jennifer spent her childhood in Mereta-Eola, before moving back to her home in San Angelo. She graduated from Central High School in 2006.
Jennifer worked many jobs throughout her life, but her most rewarding position was caring for babies at Harris Avenue Baptist Church Daycare. She was known for her dedication and compassion in her work.
She is preceded in death by her grandparents Ernesto Torres, Sr., Jesus and Abelina Ugalde, and her father Evaristo Ugalde. Jennifer is survived by her grandmother Dolores Torres; parents Rudy and Lorraine Ramirez; children, Zeila and Jaxon Cano, Romello Dewitt; siblings, Paul Ugalde, Jill Ugalde, Jessie Ugalde, Marie Ramirez, Rudy Ramirez, Jr., Crystal Justice, Ross Ramirez, Ramona Garcia, and Racheal Rodriguez, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Jennifer loved being a mom and spending time with her family. She had a gift for making everyone feel like a friend and was cherished by all who crossed her path. Her involvement with Vacation Bible School at Harris Avenue brought her immense joy.
She enjoyed getting dressed up, listening to music, dancing, watching her kids play sports, and spending quality time with her family. Her legacy of love and kindness will be remembered by all who knew her.
A Rosary will be held on February 6, 2026, at 6 pm at Johnson’s Funeral Home Chapel. The Mass of Christian Burial will take place on February 7, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Angels Catholic Church. Jennifer will be laid to rest at Calvary Catholic Cemetery following the Mass.
