OBITUARY

Jeanette Rene Walker, a cherished mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on February 13, 2026, at the age of 66 in her beloved hometown of San Angelo. Born on August 17, 1960, to Timothy and Thelma Whitmore, Jeanette’s life was a testament to the love and joy she brought to those around her.

Jeanette’s spirit and energy were the cornerstones of the Walker household. She was a beacon of faith and kindness, touching the lives of many through her unwavering Christian beliefs. Her devotion to her family was unparalleled, and she was a source of strength and inspiration to her children, Nancy, Ashanti, Rebecca, Timothy, and Earl Jr. Jeanette reveled in the laughter and milestones of her fifteen grandchildren and four great-grandsons, and the anticipation of welcoming a great-granddaughter filled her final days with immense joy.

Her love for her siblings, Norma, Michelle, Carolyn, and Ronald Sr, was a bond that stood the test of time, creating countless cherished memories. Jeanette’s nieces and nephews found in her a confidante and a guiding light, a role she embraced with grace and enthusiasm.

Jeanette was preceded in death by her beloved Glen Whitek, and her parents, Timothy and Thelma Whitmore and a Grandson Kanye Walker. The lessons of love and perseverance they instilled in her remained at the core of who she was and how she lived her life.

Jeanette’s family will hold a private ceremony to honor her life and the profound impact she made on each of them. They take solace in the knowledge that she is now at peace, reunited with her loved ones who have gone before her, and watching over them with the same love and tenderness that she bestowed in life.
