OBITUARY

Jason Louis Gutierrez, 47, of San Angelo, Texas passed away on Monday, October 27, 2025. He was born on August 13, 1978, in San Angelo to Cynthia and George Gutierrez. 

Jason attended Central High School and was in the class of 1996. He studied drafting & architectural design at Howard College. Jason then began his career in management, working for Wal-Mart in as an overnight stocker.

He had a passion for his daughters, fishing, and music. Jason enjoyed going to the lake, spending time with close family, watching movies, and taking his girls to Whataburger every chance he got. Jason will always be remembered for his dad jokes, dark humor, and amazing cooking. 

Jason was preceded in death by his grandparents; older brother, Michael Shane; and momma, Cynthia Jo.

Left to cherish Jason’s memory are his father, George and “Aunt Momma” Shannon; sisters, Lisa and husband David, Angela and husband Eric, Kassie and husband Josh; brother, Jesse and wife Pati; children, Jenny, Joe Angel, Alexis, Cambria, and Neriah. Jason also leaves behind 8 grandchildren; his first babies, Emilee, Damian & Will, Baby Jesse, Faith & Trin, Khyleigh & Stetson; as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins. 

Visitation for Jason was held on Friday, October 31, 2025 at Johnson’s Funeral Home, with funeral services on November 1, at Johnson’s Funeral Home Chapel. Jason was laid to rest next to his momma, at Belvedere Memorial Park.
