OBITUARY

Harold “Paul” Bradley, of San Angelo, passed away on October 12, 2025, at the age of 75. He was born on January 31, 1950, in Phoenix, AZ, to parents Woodrow Harold and Frances Marie (Joiner) Bradley.

Paul’s parents traveled from Arizona to Idaho before Paul was 1-year old. He said this was the beginning of a life-long love of travel. Paul had many wonderful memories with his cousins, roaming the banks of the river in Paint Rock, where they would hunt and fish.

Paul went to Lake View High School, started working in a welding shop at age 16, worked at the State School in Carlsbad, and enlisted in the Military (Army). Paul proudly served in the Maintenance Division and traveled all over the world. His favorite assignment was Korea.

After his stint in the Army, he came back to San Angelo and went to work for Ethicon. Paul was able to realize his dream of owning his own business and started Paul Bradley Welding. This legacy is being passed on to his son.

Paul was an avid gun enthusiast and was extremely knowledgeable about all types of guns. He shot competitively in black-powder cartridge rifle competitions and traveled to multi-state gun ranges to shoot.

He developed lifelong friendships with other shooters – Bob Glodt, Garry Jennings, and Ernie White were special friends. Paul loved to hunt – he went to Gordon, Nebraska, to shoot a buffalo with one of his Sharps rifles. He loved shooting the feral pigs on his ranch.

Paul had a lifelong love of motorcycles. Paul and a group of riding buddies started a motorcycle club and shared many trips to rallies, vacations with his wife and friends. Paul loved the mountains and took many vacations to Durango, CO, as the base for his trips.

Paul is survived by his wife, Lita, son William Bradley and wife Aimee, daughter Paula Bradley, brother Bruce Bradley, son Brandon Davis, daughter Jennifer Davis, and nephew Chuck Bradley and wife Rachel. Grandchildren: James Bradley, Deven Bradley, Sterling Bradley, Calista Davis, Eli Davis, Kayden Davis and Ethan Davis. He also has a very special little dog that went to the ranch with him, Maggie. Paul had many special friends (David Darnell and Hyman Sauer) and acquaintances.

The family would like to thank Concho Hearts Hospice, Dr. Hall, Nurse Sara as well as the rest of the nurses at the Infusion Center.
