Busy weekend at Fort Concho with the return of the “After Dark” Investigator Event followed by Vintage Market with food trucks and more:
On Friday, Oct. 10: Fort Concho After Dark returns with a brand-new format! In past years, guests were limited to guided groups of 20 and a timed tour. This year, you can explore at your own pace. Three historic buildings — the Hospital, Headquarters, and Officers’ Quarters 8 — will be open for you to visit in any order.
Spend as much or as little time as you like in each location, listen to ghostly stories from our volunteers, and even try your own paranormal investigation.
We’re excited to welcome the Shadow Path Paranormal group from Round Rock, Texas, who will be conducting live investigations from 8–10 p.m. On Saturday night, they’ll share results.
Everyone must have a ticket/wristband for entry. Wristbands will be checked at each building.
Wristbands may be purchased in advance or on the night of the event (advance purchase recommended to avoid long lines).
The event ends promptly at 10:00 p.m.
Officers’ Quarters 1 will not be open this year as it will serve as the investigators’ base.
Tickets: $12 General Admission / $10 Fort Concho Members
