OBITUARY
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Donna Roberts on January 22, 2026, at the age of 58. Donna was a loving mother, and devoted grandmother who dearly loved all her grandkids, and cherished friend. She was born on May 23, 1967, and throughout her life, she was a source of warmth, kindness, and laughter to all who knew her.
Preceded in death by her father James Roberts, her mother Mary Brown, and her brother Danny Roberts, Donna’s memory is joined with theirs in eternal peace.
Donna is survived by her three daughters: Kimberly Gonzalez and her husband Eric, Ashley Jones and her husband Joseph, and Katie Davis and her husband Tyler. She was a proud grandmother to twelve grandchildren: Mercedeas, Jasmine, Eric, and Mariah Gonzalez; Bryson, Hadley, Justin, and Jordan Jones; and Aubrey Cabrera, Harper Davis, Maverick Davis, and Lexi Aguilera.
Donna also leaves behind her beloved dogs, Sadie and Ellie, who were constant companions and brought her comfort and joy throughout the years.
Donna’s family was the center of her world, and she delighted in spending time with them—whether enjoying a quiet evening watching her favorite TV shows or sharing a shopping trip. For the last three years of her life, Donna lived in the home of her daughter Ashley Jones and husband Joseph Jones, where St. Gabriel’s Hospice provided compassionate end-of-life care. Her dear friend and nurse, Tammy Celaya, was by her side, providing comfort and support in Donna’s final moments. Donna was also deeply grateful for the friendship of Lee Strickland, who was a constant presence in her life and provided much love and support.
Donna will be remembered for her boundless love for her family, her infectious laughter, and her thoughtful nature. She had a special ability to make everyone feel welcome and cared for, and her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
Donna’s family takes comfort in knowing that her spirit will continue to shine through the memories they hold dear. She is truly loved and will be missed more than words can express.
Family and friends are invited to attend the service at 12 p.m., Saturday January 31, 2026 at Bethel Assembly of God, 1902 Childress St. in San Angelo. Flowers may be sent to Harpers Funeral Home 2606 Southland Blvd in San Angelo.
