Concho Valley PAWS is urgently seeking fosters after rescuing 19 dogs from a chaotic dog seizure in Bronte. The agency put out a social media cry for help from the community.

“We took a leap of faith that the good people in this community would support us in saving these young dogs. They didn’t deserve this. Please help us help them.”

The seizure happened in Bronte, located in Coke County, and PAWS described the situation as “32 dogs crammed onto a trailer and removed from a property due to eviction”.

The dogs include adult dogs, puppies, juveniles, and infants.

“It was heartbreaking chaos that won’t soon be forgotten,” PAWS said.

PAWS was able to help save 19 lives of the 32 seized – 12 infants that require bottle feeding, six juveniles and one adult dog. The other dogs were killed before PAWS could arrive to assist.

The agency wants to send the puppies home in pairs and is requesting assistance from anyone interested in fostering.

“If you have experience bottle-feeding an animal, we need you. If you want to help, but don’t have that experience, you can help by taking one of the older puppies or we can teach you!  These animals were worth saving, please support us in saving their lives.”

If you’re interested in fostering or volunteering, text 325-656-3950.
