It is with sadness that I announce The Concho Observer will cease publication March 1.
We will be exploring options for this website to continue in another way, but as of Sunday we will no longer be publishing news stories, or covering local government on a regular basis.
It has been our privilege to bring you quality in-depth stories our existing media outlets do not cover.
Unfortunately the financial support to sustain the publication long term has not developed. We are not financially able to pay writers for the type and quality of stories we want to publish on a consistent basis.
