At their meeting this coming Tuesday Tom Green County Commissioners are expected to hold interviews for, and appoint a new Justice of the Peace for Precinct 4. The new J.P. will finish the remainder of the current term of J.P. Pct 4 Eddie Howard. Howard tendered his resignation in December.
Other items on the agenda include other personnel actions, receiving racial profiling reports from Tom Green County Constables, consider interlocal agreements with Christoval VFD, and Mereta VFD, considering a county wide burn ban; and the purchasing of 54 M4 rifles for the Sheriff’s Department.
The meeting is scheduled to begin at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday January 7, 2025 in Commissioners Court Meeting Room at the Edd B. & Frances Frink Keyes Building 113 W. Beauregard San Angelo, Texas.
