The San Angelo City Council’s meets this coming, Tuesday for its first meeting in the New Year. You can view or download the Agenda here.

Date: January 7, 2025

Time: 8:30 a.m.

Location: McNease Convention Center – South Meeting Room, 501 Rio Concho Drive San Angelo, Texas

Postal Annex Ad

The following items are on the agenda:

  • Approving a land lease at 7645 Knickerbocker Rd. with Frontier Southwest Inc.
  • Approving the purchase of 805 W. Avenue N from CVI Group, LLC & Steel City Investment LLC.
  • Approving a contract with Ener-Tel Services, Inc. for burglar and fire alarm monitoring etc.
  • Approving a contract with Avolve Project DOX for annual software maintenance.
  • Approving expenditure of 303,318.36 for annual renewal of Hexagon operating system for Police Department.
  • Approving contract with Core & Main Inc. for installation of water meters.
  • Approving agreement with Tom Green County for temporary use of city water outside city limits., and county’s inclusion in city’s CDL training program.
  • Zoning change request from Heavy Commercial to Low-Rise Mutlifamily for six properties on W. 18th St., W. 19th St. and Martin Luther King Jr. Drive.
  • Approval of Incentive Funding Request from TIRZ Board for 2401 N. Chadbourne, and 215 W. 19th St.
  • Discussion and possible action on North TIRZ Non-Profit Policy.
  • Approving Infill Empowerment Zone request for infrastructure funding for 50% of sewer main extension not to exceed $12,500 at 1608 Preusser.
  • Approving appointments to various board and commission of the City.
