Joshua Burleson filed for Mayor this afternoon. Mr. Burleson is employed as a compliance and training specialist at Sonora Bank. John Bariou also filed for SMD 2, the seat currently held by Tom Thompson. Mr. Bariou previously served on the City of San Angelo Development Corporation and led an effort to recall the City Council in 2024.
