The San Angelo Museum of Fine Arts continues Free Family Day on October 18: Oceanography October featuring educational art and science experiences for all ages. Bring your family and friends for activities including:
Moving Fish – create a fish that moves its body, Turtle or Crab – which is your favorite?
Under the Sea – create your own scene from the ocean, and build 3D animal models.
Families can also plant seeds in biodegradable pots. Be sure to visit the Concho Clay Studio for clay activities and enjoy the bouncy house in the breezeway.
A free children’s book giveaway will be presented outside of the Scripps-Howard Library & Bob and Doris Johnston Foundation Reading Room on the 2nd Floor with books generously provided by the San Angelo Adult Literacy Council and anonymous donors.
During Family Day, take photos with Esther La Catrina for Día De Los Muertos.
Free Family Day includes free admission to the galleries. Light refreshments will be available while supplies last.
