Show times will be at 8 p.m. each night June 19-21 and 26-28, with the doors opening for dinner service at 6:45 p.m. There will also be a Sunday matinee finale at 2 p.m. on June 29, with the doors opening for dinner service at 12:45 p.m.

“Twelfth Night” centers on twins Viola and Sebastian, who are shipwrecked off the coast of Illyria.

Viola believes that Sebastian has drowned, and she survives in Illyria by disguising herself as a boy named Cesario and becoming a servant to Duke Orsino.

The duke is in love with Countess Olivia and sends Cesario to court her on his behalf.

However, Olivia falls in love with Cesario instead. When Sebastian finally arrives safely, a series of mistaken identities, practical jokes and comedic situations ensue.

Under the direction of Derek Rhein, instructor of theatre, the ASU student cast includes Mitchell Martinez, Catalina Perry, Lawrence Smiley, Wade Sorrells, Jakobnoah Rowe, Fallon Dinolfo, Tristian Hilmes, Tyson Walls, Juan Rodriguez, Zaiden Lopez, Nico Jacobsen, Tae Stephens and Kate Yantis, with original music by Kirby Paugh.

The student production staff and crew include Alexis Crawford, stage manager; Emily Wagner, co-lighting designer; Melissa Surber, costume designer; Chance Criswell, assistant costume designer, house manager, box office; Charlotte Branch, sound designer; Margarita Torres-Fabela, co-props designer; Jake Cisneros, scenic painter, box office; and Kate Yantis, maitre d’.

The faculty/staff production crew includes Rhein as co-scenic designer, Chase Phelps as co-scenic designer and co-lighting designer, Mayra Torres as projections designer and Marla Daugherty as co-props designer. The adaptation of “Twelfth Night” was done by adjunct faculty member Daniel Anderson.
